About Me

I’m Zach Clarke, an outgoing guy born in England and raised in North Vancouver, BC. Graduate of BCIT’s Broadcast and Journalism program in 2024, I am always striving to improve my skill set. Play-by-play commentary has been my dream job ever since I was 6 years old. Jim Hughson’s legendary Canucks calls made me realize that’s exactly what I want to do, and have been striving towards ever since. The play-by-play and colour casting work I’ve done so far has been some of the most fun of my career.

Journalism is a more recent passion of mine; getting to the bottom of any story and delivering it in an effective and entertaining manner brings a unique feeling of satisfaction. I always thrive in the spotlight, and take any chance I can get to energize the workplace. In my teens I ran a successful YouTube channel, which taught me a lot about every aspect of digital content, a skill I feel I will never stop using. I have a habit of wanting to discover every side to a situation, which helps a tonne with my journalistic side. Not to mention a love of writing!
