Play-by-Play

Full-Time Positions

White Rock Whalers

I became the full time Play-by-Play caster for the Whalers in 2022. Since then my duties have expanded to creating videos for YouTube, helping run various social media platforms for the team, and overseeing the broadcast operations.

Port Coquitlam Trailblazers

I started the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers broadcast team in 2023 with 2 other BCIT Students. I have been the teams full time play-by-play broadcaster since their introduction to the PJHL. We run everything to do with the broadcast, from managing our own equipment, to getting sponsors for the broadcast, and producing a professional looking product with no oversight.

Individual Casts

Surrey Eagles

I have had the honour of filling in for the Surrey Eagles broadcast on two occasions, such exciting hockey in a great atmosphere. This was a tight 1 goal affair against the Langley Rivermen.

Coquitlam Express

I stepped behind the mic for the Coquitlam Express country night, and was rewarded with a close, hard fought game against the Chilliwack Chiefs that went all the way to a shootout.

Freelance Work

JPHL

The JPHL was where I started my broadcast career, and I am still involved with this great crew today!

Below is the final game of the B.C. U18 Championship series between Okanagan HC and Island HC. I travelled out to Vernon for this thrilling conclusion, in which all games in the series went to Overtime.

The 2023 U-18 Tier 2 B.C. Provincial Championships was my first time broadcasting more than 12 hours consecutively, as my co-caster Liam Higgs and I called 20 games over 4 days from the Ladner Leisure Centre.

It was a challenging but amazing experience that taught me how to pace myself, and manage my voice so that it provides the least strain on my vocal chords.

Below is the Gold Medal game between the South Delta Storm and the Cloverdale Colts.
